Laurie Doyle grew up in the south west of England, devouring books and exploring
imaginary worlds with their twin sister. Now, Laurie channels their love for all things
fantastic into their writing. They have a particular fondness for fantasy and horror, diverse
characters in lead roles, and animals both real and imagined.
Laurie has previously had their short fiction featured in Changelings: An Autistic Trans
Anthology, which was chosen as winner of the Queer Indie Awards Best Young Adult book
2023, and in the Manawaker Studio Podcast, Creepy Pod, and FLARE Magazine.
