Dana Rose Falcone grew up on Long Island, N.Y. loving writing and reading from a young age. In middle school, she even started her own magazine that she and her friends wrote, illustrated, printed, and distributed. A formative teenage summer spent watching MTV instead of attending camp, followed shortly after by the start of an obsession with the Jonas Brothers, turned Dana Rose into a pop culture devotee who collected teen magazine covers featuring her favorite celebrities. So after studying magazine journalism at Syracuse University, Dana Rose moved to New York City and pursued a career in celebrity and entertainment writing. She is currently a Staff Writer at People and has previously held positions at Us Weekly and Entertainment Weekly. Dana Rose has also contributed to Allure, Apartment Therapy, BestReviews, Brides, Fast Company, HuffPost, Money, Newsweek and Popular Science.
Dana Rose forayed into fiction writing thanks to her senior dachshund Pearl who inspired her to write a series of children’s books. Dana Rose goes out for holidays, especially Christmas, and enjoys baking, taking trips to the beach, catching up with friends over a bottle of wine, and attempting to recreate Pinterest-level nail art.
