Bethanie worked in marketing and market research in the publishing and insurance industries and at a casket company before committing her time to writing picture books. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and has worked with youth ages K-12 in her community church and school district. She has a B.A. in Psychology and a concentration in English from Columbia University, as well as an MBA from the University of Michigan.

She enjoys learning about new underwater discoveries, space exploration and everything in between. Bethanie lives with her husband, two remarkable daughters and their cat in eastern PA.
