Aimee has always had a deep love of books. From the time she was 3 years old and named her cat Harold after Harold and the Purple Crayon, she knew books would contain the best answers to life’s questions. After a career reading books to kids as an elementary teacher, she is dedicated to a career writing books for kids as a full-time author.

Aimee is the winner of the SCBWI Work-in-Progress Award for picture books, a PBParty finalist, a PB Rising Star, and holds a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and Master’s in Education. She writes picture books in multiple genres (fiction, non-fiction, informational fiction, lyrical, humor, etc.) and hopes to make heart-to-heart connections with readers page by page.

Aimee loves the color yellow, trivia, libraries, palindromes, board games, and cherry pie. She enjoys spending time with her hilarious husband, three charming children, and one precious pup named Pearl on the same road where she grew up.
