Andrew and Katie Cherkasky are a married couple who are both former federal prosecutors. They began their legal careers in the military, supporting the U.S. efforts in the war on terrorism. As prosecutors, they focused their work on sexually violent crimes, and rose to the top, being recognized as the best of the best.
Since leaving their federal jobs, they founded a civil rights law firm. Since the firm’s inception, they have represented thousands of accused criminals, taken hundreds of felony cases to trial, and have sued the US Government for hundreds of millions of dollars for civil rights violations.
In 2018 the couple found a voice in the national news as regular legal and political commentators and authors for major media outlets. The two have spoken on nearly every major news story -- regularly featured on Fox News, CNN, Court TV, and the Op-Ed section of USA Today, to name a few. They have also found great success as hosts of their own podcast – Legally Bound – where they debate their views on “love, law, and politics.”
The couple and their five children moved to New York City in the summer of 2022 to further their careers as writers, pundits, and civil rights leaders.
