Anna Hamilton lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia and admittedly has trouble focusing on anything other than her seven (and counting) grandkids…accept writing of course.
She grew up in the small town Ojai in Southern California. Her childhood was full of adventures with her sister, brother, and the neighborhood kids. Throughout her elementary years, her imagination and love for writing began to intertwine. Before graduating from high school, she had written several short stories, one of which was featured in the local newspaper.

Shortly after high school, she met and then married the love of her life. They had three beautiful boys. Motherhood kept her wonderfully busy. When her youngest started kindergarten she discovered a new love—reading romance!
After losing her mother, she began writing again. It helped keep her mind from focusing on the loss of her mom. A year later Anna and her family moved to Northern California and that’s when everything changed. She took writing more seriously and completed her first novel. She is incredibly fortunate to be represented by the ever patient and brilliant Nicole Resciniti and the marvelous, get it done, Joyce Sweeney of The Seymour Agency.

The creative process of writing is where she is most comfortable. The technical process has matured the professional side of her. She has learned that perseverance, commitment, diligence, and believing in a dream are key characteristics in order to succeed.

In addition to writing romance novels, Anna is now moving into creating ideas for film as well as screenwriting.
