Annette M. Clayton is a writer of kidlit with a Master's degree in Writing for Children and YA. Her debut picture book publishes in 2024 with Familius. She writes for the educational market with a focus on grades K-5, with six leveled-readers publishing soon. For the trade market, she writes picture books, both fiction and nonfiction, chapter books, and new adult.

Her likes include: hiking, anything with sugar, Disney World, and contracts. Her dislikes include: litter, vegetables, quicksand, and rejection letters.
