Austin Hamilton was born in Southern California and spent his primary school years going to the beaches of Carpentaria, Santa Barbara, and Malibu. His favorite places were the zoo or museums, especially the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles. In middle school he and his family moved to Northern California where he played football and wrestled until graduating from high school.

Shortly after graduating, Austin met the love of his life. They moved to San Diego California for over a year and after she graduated from UCSD they moved back to NorCal, got married, had a baby girl, moved across the country alongside his younger brother, sister-in-law, and mom. They live in Virginia Beach, Virginia with their daughter and son as the four of them wait for the arrival of their newest addition—another boy!

Austin is currently the site supervisor for a nonprofit equine therapy facility. He loves seeing the barn filled with horses. Outside of work he enjoys hunting and fishing; his greatest joy is his life at home with his family and bringing his wife’s creative concepts to life through illustrations and writing a YA Sci-Fi Novel. Austin is incredibly thankful for the wisdom and synchronicity he has found in his super agent Joyce Sweeney.
