Carly-Rae is a well-known literary advocate, having founded the popular book blog,
HeyitsCarlyRae. She earned her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and graduated
cum laude with a field of study in literature and minors in anthropology/archaeology and creative
writing. She is also a teaching assistant at Harvard University and the Vice President of Harvard
Extension Student Association. Currently, Carly-Rae is a Harvard University graduate student
pursuing her master’s degree in creative writing and literature at the Extension School. Her thesis
focuses on suspense and how successful thriller writers pull off that silent twist.

Her current project is a psychological thriller.
