Caroline Wu is a writer, poet, and conservationist whose work is inspired by her love of the outdoors. She is passionate about telling stories that evoke a sense of wonder and stewardship for the natural world and stories that reflect her identity as a Chinese American and daughter of immigrants.

Prior to picking up the pen, Caroline worked for a decade in business and technology. Her proudest accomplishment during that time was launching a program to donate millions of items to charity, which otherwise would have been sent to the landfill. She currently serves on the board of a nonprofit that restores ecosystems for endangered species and local communities.

Caroline lives in the Shenandoah Valley. She is an avid hiker, amateur photographer, and wannabe birder. When she is not in the mountains, she writes stories filled with heart, nature, and dumplings.
