Jen has always been a reader. Growing up as an only child, she found that Frances, Sylvester and the Lorax were great company! As Jen grew, so did her collection of children’s books until it finally dawned on her that maybe she should write some! Jen has studied the craft of picture book writing for many years now. She’s a member of SCBWI, Julie Hedlund’s 12x12 Picture Book Challenge, Inked Voices and Storyteller Academy.

Jen lives in the magical seaside town of Portsmouth, NH with her husband, two young teens and rescue pup. When not writing, you can find her working the front-of-house for a small theater, volunteering at the local homeless shelter, re-stocking her Little Free Library, practicing tarot and trying desperately to learn how to be a witch!
