L.L. Kaplan is an attorney and former prosecutor who spent twenty years as an FBI Special Agent. After never finding one X-file, she gave-up and retired. Now she pens crime fiction where justice prevails, but doesn’t always end in handcuffs. She also writes stories featuring talking turkeys, clever cats and other snarky sorts. When not writing, she can be found baking something killer, jogging with friends, plotting mischief or planting sunflowers. She lives in a small town on a Great Lake with her husband and one very spoiled rescued house panther.
