Lauren Connolly crafts love stories set in the contemporary world. Some are grounded in reality, while others play with the mystical and magical. Her writing normally happens in the evening because she spends her days as an academic librarian, helping students research all sorts of odd topics. On weekends though, she’s apt to sit for hours in a local coffee shop with a large mocha and her trusty laptop, typing away at her latest work.

Lauren lives in southern Colorado, outnumbered by animals. Her furry family consists of a cocker spaniel who thinks he’s a cave dwelling troll and two cats with a mission to raise hell and destroy all curtains.
