Phyllis Zimbler Miller is a Los Angeles screenwriter (film and TV), book author, playwright, and former U.S. Army Mrs. Lieutenant who worked as a Department of the Army civilian in counterintelligence in Munich during the Cold War. She grew up in Elgin, Illinois, earning her B.A. in Journalism at Michigan State University and her M.B.A. in Finance at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Phyllis’ military writing has been awarded a Nicholl Fellowship quarterfinalist and an Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award semifinalist. She has been the co-host of a BlogTalkRadio military interview show and a member of the Department of Defense’s Bloggers Roundtable.
She is currently the co-host of the NEVER AGAIN IS NOW podcast about antisemitism on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts and she blogs at the Times of Israel.
