Tim Berry is the founder of the Center for Positive Change LLC. As such, he has enjoyed wearing two professional hats. First, he has consistently maintained a clinical practice (psychotherapy) in psychology. His particular focus for over 30-years has been in coaching individuals and couples towards positive transitional changes. Second, as a consulting psychologist and leadership coach, Tim helps organizations, family-businesses, and individuals resolve difficult blind spots, restricting productivity, personal fulfillment, and peak performance. He was a licensed fly-fishing guide for 18-years in California and Washington. When appropriate, he continues to utilize the water in his Transition-Coaching work. Experience has shown that doing the coaching work on the water expedites the coaching process exponentially.
By way of training, Tim holds master's and doctoral degrees in both theology and psychology. Since 1982 he has been interested professionally in both organizational and leadership development and leadership transition issues. Tim has advanced training in sports psychology, biofeedback, and interactive guided imagery, making him particularly useful in coaching leaders who seek to lead from their center.
The Center for Positive Change LLC is located in the charming town of Missoula, Montana. Montana in general and Missoula specifically are world-famous as vacation destinations for discerning travelers and as a fly-fishing mecca.
