Tori Kelley moved around a lot as a child. Fluent in Italian, she apprenticed at a Pasticceria near Venice, Italy, and learned how to make gelato from scratch. When her father retired from the military, she returned to the United States at eighteen having only completed the eighth grade. But she persisted, earned her Ph.D. and founded Central Florida Mental Health, where she is a Board 491 Qualified Clinical Supervisor of Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapist Interns.
Tori is passionate about writing stories featuring resiliency. She holds an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts, and belongs to AWP, ALA, and SCBWI, where she won a Rising Kite Award in the Young Adult category.
Beautiful Pain by Tori is her debut album, featuring songs she wrote about healing and finding her voice. A mother of two and wife of one, Tori draws strength and energy from daily doses of Nutella.
