06 May Deal Announcement: Amy Daws Lands Two Series with Canary Street Press

We’re excited to share a major deal announcement for bestselling indie romance author Amy Daws.

John Jacobson at Harlequin has acquired two series by Amy Daws—comprising nine books in total—for Canary Street Press. The deals for world English rights were brokered by our own Nicole Resciniti and Lesley Sabga at the Seymour Agency.

The acquisition includes Daws’s Mountain Men Matchmakers series, described as small-town romantic comedies centered on themes of family, as well as the Wait with Me series—standalone contemporary romances inspired by charming “waiting room” meet-cutes. The first three titles are slated for release in 2025, including Nine Month Contract, with additional books to follow into 2026. The fan-favorite Last on the List will also be published in print for the first time in September 2025.

This exciting partnership marks a significant milestone in Amy’s already impressive career, and we’re proud to have helped bring these projects to life. We can’t wait for readers to fall in love with these stories all over again—and for the new ones still to come.
