Hello! I’m Stefan Nikolić, a Serbian illustrator currently based in Vienna, Austria. I started diving into the world of children’s books in 2022, and since then, my focus has gradually shifted in that direction. I hold an MA in Applied Arts, and my artistic journey began with mosaics and traditional painting. At the same time, I worked as a freelance concept artist on a range of indie projects before fully transitioning into children’s illustration. I’m especially drawn to stories rooted in adventure, fantasy, and mystery, often with a subtle touch of spookiness. I also like illustrating everyday moments, usually adding a bit of humor and personality to bring scenes to life.
