Tajha Winkle is a Jamaican illustrator and 2D animator of Black and Indian heritage. She’s had the pleasure of doing work for Sesame Street, and she was given acclaim for her illustrated and animated work within her home country Jamaica & regionally within the Caribbean. The main goal for her work is to connect people with visually beautiful stories, across borders. Her illustrations center around stories about people of color and embracing authentic emotions: joy, anger, sadness, love. When she’s not drawing, she’s spending time in her garden feeding wild birds with a cup of tea in hand.
